How to Get Here? Once you are in Montezuma, turn left from the bus station and follow the main street to the beach. Organico is on your left, just before the church. You will see our beautiful pink sign on the street as well.
How to Get to Montezuma? You have plenty of options, but here are three very common ones.
Bus from San Jose
Take the express bus to Montezuma from the Coca-Cola Terminal in San Jose. It's cheap and very reliable. It costs only 5,000 colones. You pay inside the bus and it takes you directly to Montezuma. You will get off the bus in Punterenas with everybody to board the ferry. Don't worry about taking your luggage with you on the ferry. They lock the bus during the ferry ride. Once across the ocean, you will board the same bus with your ticket. The only catch is it takes long, about 6 hours.
Taxi Boat from Jaco
There are daily taxi boats from Jaco to Montezuma. It costs $35 and leaves you right on the beach. Jaco is 3 hours from San Jose. Just don't forget to wear sunscreen or you will be really red.
Taxi from Tambor Airport
You can fly to Tambor which is 40 minutes to Montezuma by car. Use Sansa Airlines or Nature Airlines to book your flight. They both have multiple planes daily but the planes are really really small. From there, take a taxi which costs $30.
